It's true, because we believe he sends everyone to us, not by accident, but because they are searching.  Perhaps it's for that warmth of happiness, a special place to belong, a way to share, or even an extended family, Sometimes it's for comfort from loss, or to feel the joy of giving, and even to find meaningful relationships, No matter the reason you're here, we're glad you found us!

We believe that First United Methodist Churches and Ministries have a message that is worth hearing and that the internet is a powerful medium for delivering that message:

Summer Fellowship Worship Service: 

Summer and Winter worship attendance is part of the ebb and flow of church life in the Valley.  We sure miss our Northern Friends, and wish them a wonderful summer in their northern homes.  As we take full advantage of the cozy numbers our summer attendance affords, let's adjust our seats a bit and come together in one Summer Fellowship Worship Service beginning through the end of August.  We'll return to our two service format September 7th.

Sunday School has moved to 9:15 a.m.
and our one combined Sunday Worship Service to 10:30 a.m. for these months of summer. 

The Summer Fellowship Worship Service blends elements from our traditional style worship service, with elements from our contemporary service, into one combined service (similar to May's high school graduation service).

Let's enjoy this opportunity to meet together as one congregation.  During the "celebration of friendship" greeting time, warmly greet and introduce yourself to those you don't recognize.  Remember some may be visitors and some may be members who have joined the church through the "other" service time.  Greet all these new friends in Christ, and make a point to spend some time enjoying the presence of folks you might not have seen a while.
